We have obtained the PEFC certificate

Another important milestone has been achieved – we have obtained PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certification. PEFC is the world's most widespread forest certification system, which sets standards for forest management at both the local and global levels.

What is PEFC?

PEFC is an international system that focuses on sustainable forest management. Its aim is to ensure that forests are managed in a way that respects nature, supports biodiversity and delivers ecological, economic and social benefits for current and future generations.

PEFC standards include rules for:

• Protection of forest ecosystems: They ensure that forests are managed in a way that minimizes negative impacts on nature.

• Social responsibility: PEFC emphasizes the rights of workers, local communities and indigenous peoples.

• Economic sustainability: Supports management that is economically viable and beneficial to all stakeholders.
